We do hope the tablet at least makes it as far as a UK launch though -- the hardware alone seems pretty neat and we'd like to give GridOS a good test before jumping to too many negative conclusions just yet. What do you think to the Grid10 -- is it a 10-inch treat or a tough tablet to take? Let us know in the comments section below or over on our Facebook page. Fusion Garage has stopped masquerading as 'TabCo' and announced the Grid10, a 10.1-inch tablet running a slightly confusing looking OS called GridOS.
A generational shiftMovie studios and TV broadcasters recognize that what customers want is to take their content with them on different devices, Young people aren't even watching TV the way their parents and grandparents did, In fact, a recent Nielsen study shows that audiences for broadcast networks like ABC, Fox, NBC, and CBS, which once dominated television programming, are getting older, Twenty years ago, the median age for ABC viewers was lovecases check yo self iphone 6s / 6 case - gold reviews 37; today it's 51, Fox's median age has also jumped, from 29 to 44, And NBC and CBS, which have always had older viewers, are also seeing the median age of their viewers rise, [CBS is the parent company of CNET.]..
The iPad has never had a very good built-in speaker, and unlike the iPhone or iPod Touch, it doesn't come with earbuds. For travel, or even everyday use, investing in a good pair of headphones is key. Apple's own EarPods are actually pretty great and inexpensive, but I'm also partial to the Etymotic hf2, which has excellent range and a built-in microphone (you'll want one of those for FaceTime, Skype, or taking dictation), but another longtime CNET favorite is the Klipsch Image S4i II (pictured above). For other picks, check out CNET's lists of the top headphones under $100 and under $50 (some don't include a microphone).
Juniper reported $122.2 million in first-quarter revenue, and before news of the WorldCom scandal hit, said it expects that will change little in the second quarter, Some analysts, such as Wells Fargo Securities, have estimated sales as low as lovecases check yo self iphone 6s / 6 case - gold reviews $110 million for the quarter, Juniper shares have fallen this week, but remained stable in Thursday afternoon trading, up about 2 percent to $5.25, far off its 52-week high of $32.50, Before news broke of the WorldCom scandal, several analysts had recently lowered their estimates for Juniper's current quarter and fiscal year, On Thursday, Salomon Smith Barney downgraded Juniper to "neutral" from "outperform." Though other equipment makers do business with WorldCom, none have the exposure of Juniper..
It's free, but a $3.85 plug-in adds tools like cropping and contrast, exposure, and saturation controls. Pudding CameraLike Urbian's Retro Camera, the free Pudding Camera app from KTH offers several different camera types as well as films that you can combine for your desired effect. You also get quick exposure control, support for front-facing cameras, and tap-to-shoot. The biggest problem I have with it is that your largest photo resolution is 1,280 pixels, but that's fine for sharing online. Along the same lines as Pudding Camera is Cymera, a camera app from SK Communications. The interface is nice and snappy, and it has plenty of editing options after you shoot. It is, however, tied into SK Comm's Korean social network, Cyworld, and every time you start the app, it asks you to log in. You can choose not to and use the app, but it's an extra step that might get to you after awhile. Plus, it's limited to a maximum resolution of 1,024 pixels. It's free, though, so checking it out won't cost you anything.
